HEIKO air-to-air heat pumps: which model should you choose?

In brief: choose the output according to room size. For supplementary heating, a 2,6 kW model suits rooms up to 35 m², a 3,2 kW model up to 40 m², a 4,8 kW model up to 50 m² and a 6,2 kW model up to 65 m². All our HEIKO wall-mounted models have Wi-Fi control, use R32 refrigerant and heat even at −15 °C.

ROSA or QIRA?

  • ROSA is available in black and white, with outputs of 2,6–6,2 kW. The indoor unit of the 2,6 and 3,2 kW models measures 705 × 193 × 265 mm.
  • QIRA is white, with an output of 2,6 or 3,5 kW. Its indoor unit measures 805 × 200 × 290 mm and has a noise level of 37 dB(A). QIRA has an ioniser.
  • QIRA allows longer connecting pipework: up to 20 m (up to 15 m for the 2,6 and 3,2 kW ROSA models). This matters when the outdoor unit is far from the indoor unit.
  • Both have a SCOP of 4,0, Wi-Fi control, self-cleaning and a wireless remote control.

Wall-mounted or portable air conditioner?

A wall-mounted air-to-air heat pump consists of an indoor and an outdoor unit. The HEIKO portable air conditioner is a single appliance without a separate outdoor unit. Here is the difference:

Can I control the unit from my phone?
